Craig Conover Breaks Silence on Paige DeSorbo Breakup Rumors

Southern Charm just returned for its 10th season. Of course, fans are discussing the show, and they are also talking about the dating lives of its stars. As usual, Craig Conover and his relationship with Paige DeSorbo are at the forefront thanks to recent breakup rumors. Now, not only is he shooting down those pesky rumors, but he’s also reacting to Vanderpump Rules getting a complete cast shakeup.

As fans know, Craig and Paige have been together since 2021. As one of the most talked-about couples on Bravo, there are always discussions about the state of their relationship. This often comes in the form of people wondering when they’ll get married. They both have said they will when the time is right.

Recently, Craig sat down for an interview with E! News where they asked him about where he stands with Paige following rumors they had broken up. According to him, “I don’t know where that came from, because we’re together, like, every week. So, no, Paige and I are not broken up. We’re still together.”

Craig also responded to speculation that he and Paige were going to break up on the show as a way to boost ratings. “Why would we do that?! Remember back in high school when people would gossip? Like, I got most dramatic in high school. I’m a huge gossiper, but just don’t take everything so seriously,” Craig said.

The Southern Charm star added that there is no reason for these rumors because he and Paige are in a really good place in their relationship. He explained, “If I would have given you a reason for that rumor to start, then I think I would have to defend it. But I don’t think me and Paige did anything.”

As usual, the topic of Craig popping the question to Paige also came up. However, he basically said fans shouldn’t expect him to get down on one knee anytime soon.

According to Craig, “I don’t have a ring. I would like to one day. I’m having a lot of fun challenging myself in New York City now. The company’s going really well in Charleston. ”

He added, “I just don’t wanna cut off everything that we’re both doing. We’re on these parallel paths, and it’s really exciting. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes.”

The interviewer also asked about his friendship with Shep Rose and Austen Kroll. “We’re like brothers. If we hang out too much, we’re gonna get into a fight. At least me and Shep,” Craig responded.

He went on, “But we’re doing well. What I hope we’re gonna see this season is three friends that could walk away, and it would probably be easier, but we have so much love and history that we would rather put the work in to save our friendship.”

Craig also sat down for an interview with @ETalkCTV, where he gave his reaction to Vanderpump Rules getting the reboot treatment from Bravo. Like Bravo stars and fans alike, he was surprised, but he also gave advice to the cast.

Craig said, “Austen texted me that morning. He was very surprised by it.”

“Television has to evolve a little with us because we’re not hopefully in the same place we were in our young 20s, but that doesn’t mean that the people that have been watching us for a decade doesn’t still wanna see us share our lives with them,” Craig said.

He added, “It’s just not bar fights. So, I’ll be interested to see where all those huge personalities from Vanderpump end up. I don’t think that I would accept that they would disappear from the universe. I want to see them at BravoCon, or you know.”“Again, I have to take my prior advice and say embrace the change, I guess. Don’t fight it, but we’ll see. Eleven years is a long run,” he concluded.

Southern Charm airs on Thursday nights on Bravo.
