Cowboys’ Sam Williams Sends Ominous Training Camp Warning: ‘Hope Everybody Safe!’

To say that Dallas Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams is loving being back on the practice field is an understatement.

With the tearing of his ACL at training camp last offseason, it has been a long year for Sam, and now that he’s cleared to practice, he’s been all gas, no brakes in Oxnard.

Foaming at the mouth to practice with pads on, Williams is ready to wreak havoc in the next couple of days with the defensive end ready to make life hell for Brian Schottenheimer’s offense.

As far as his messaging ahead of his first padded practice?

“I just hope everybody be safe,” Williams said. “Let’s just say that. Like I’m coming. That’s all I got to say. I don’t know how else to say. I’m just ready. Pads or no pads, I’m going give it my all. So pads going to be a little a little rougher. I ain’t touch a pad in almost a year. So I got to kill something. Just one just one time.”

So yeah, we think Sam is ready.

With the defense taking the ball away for fun and getting after Dak Prescott in all three days of practice, with Williams also making himself known with a coming together with tight end Tyler Neville, Sam might have to be held back a touch at this rate.

Having missed football for the best part of a year, now that he’s able to partake, he’s loving every minute of it in Oxnard.

And that first padded practice? Yeah, bring your popcorn.
