If you asked most fans of the Philadelphia Eagles who they would prefer to see in the first round of the NFL playoffs, the vast majority of people would say the Washington Commanders.
When you ask those same fans which team would they least like to see, their answer would probably be the Green Bay Packers.
The Dallas Cowboys, on the outside looking in when it comes to this postseason, know what they are about to see. Dallas in this calendar year was inferior to the Packers in the playoffs, was inferior twice to the Eagles in the regular season, and is an underdog this Sunday at A&T Stadium when Washington will seek to avenge its loss to "America's Team.''
But Dallas plays a role here ...
Following Sunday's slate of games, it looks like most fans are getting their worst nightmare of a first-round draw at this point with the Packers penciled in as the seventh and last seed.
There's a surprising matchup advantage, though, that serves Philadelphia well should they actually have to play the Packers in the City of Brotherly Love in two weeks.
Green Bay, for all their late-season dominance this year, has struggled to beat the top teams in the NFC this season. The Packers are 0-5 against the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and the Eagles all season.
Philadelphia won the season-opening game against Green Bay in a 34-29 showdown in Brazil.
Have the Packers gotten healthier and better since that first meeting? Of course.
But so have the Eagles.
A lot could happen between now and the start of Wild Card Weekend. The Packers may not even be the team the Eagles face if they beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday while the Commanders lose to the Dallas Cowboys.
But even if the Eagles get as tough a draw as the Packers to open up their playoff run, Green Bay's struggles against the best of the best in their conference should show that Philadelphia might be just fine.
So long as they play up to their potential of course.
