Coronation Street's Sair Khan's Heartwarming Day: A Love Confession and a Beautiful Baby Bump that Leaves Former Co-Star in Awe - lulu

Coronation Street star Sair Khan has been seen cradling her blossoming baby bump as she enjoyed a ‘day to remember’ ahead of the arrival of her first child. The actress is currently preparing to welcome her first child into the world with her partner Nathan Chilton.

Back in December, Sair, known for playing Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, admitted she was feeling ‘a real mix of emotions’ as she posed up beside Nathan Chilton to reveal the news of her pregnancy. The mum-to-be wrote: “Hello… It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions.

“With all that is happening in the world, it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful. Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis.”

She added at the time: “It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs. Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.”

Sair has now taken to social media to share how she enjoyed her baby shower over the weekend with her nearest and dearest, including former Corrie co-star Tisha Merry.

She started by taking to Instagram with a picture of her beautiful earrings that boasted pearl details and a bow. “A day to remember,” she wrote with a white heart emoji and a baby emoji, before posing for a selfie in the car and, looking positively glowing, said: “Mama’s on the way”.

There was a welcome sign ready at the venue reading ‘Sair’s baby shower,” and Sunday’s date (March 24) with cream and silver balloons surrounding it. The soap star later posed among the display and while looking sensational in a figure-hugging long-sleeved dress that boasted a high-neck and sparkly detailing, she gazed lovingly down at her bump.

She then revealed she’s been joined for the special occasion by Nathan with the pair seen cutting into a large cake which had been emblazoned with the message: “We can barely wait.” The mum-to-be adding on her Instagram Story: “We can barely wait to meet you,” with another baby emoji.

 

Meanwhile, Tisha, who will be remembered for playing Steph Britton in Corrie, took to Instagram with a string of snaps from the special occasion and said: “The most beautiful day celebrating @sairkhan baby shower. I honestly can’t wait to watch you both become parents. Love you and promise to be there for the baby sitting duties.”
