Coronation Street star Liam McCheyne may have recruited a very cute new member of the show's cast after enjoying a sweet family day on the cobbles. The actor has recently been earning praise for his portrayal of Dylan Wilson in the ITV soap.
Dylan risked having to leave Weatherfield for good after his involvement in the shocking bullying campaign against his friend Liam Connor came to light. The teen didn't stand up for Liam when he found himself being cruelly picked on by Weatherfield High bully Mason Radcliffe.
Liam was seen being subject to intense bullying by Mason and his group of mates, including Dylan, with Mason even pulling a knife on Liam during one of his cruel bullying sessions.
Justice has somewhat since prevailed as Dylan finally spoke up and despite intimidation from Mason, told the truth about him carrying a knife, with Mason told in court that he would have to face a custodial sentence as he had been convicted of possessing a knife before.
Dylan, however, later risked being packed off back to London when his mum Violet returned, horrified about what had been going on without her knowledge. While Dyaln did have to have a stint back in the Big Smoke, he's since returned to Weatherfield where he's now moved out of Number 11 with his dad Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton.
And after some heavy scenes in recent months, it appears actor Liam revelled in a sunny day on the cobbles where the soap's cast were able to bring their friends and family along for a fun-filled day on the famous set.
Sharing a picture of himself, his mum and their gorgeous pup standing outside of his former fictional home on Instagram, the young soap star said: "Corries Wellbeing day!"

He also took to his Instagram Story to share a video of the gorgeous red-coloured puppy walking down the iconic cobbles and said: "Far too cute. I reckon she's fit right in to Number 11," alongside a crying laughing emoji.
