CHARLOTTE Dawson has revealed the real reason she took fiance Matt Sarsfield back despite his cheating scandal.
The Ex On The Beach alum has insisted her two boys - and unborn baby girl - weren't the primary reasoning for her decision, which went against the calls of her loved ones to ditch him for good.
We previously exclusively reported how Charlotte's family and friends begged her to bin the shamed rugby star when his dirty texts to a stranger were exposed this summer.
Yet the couple then revealed they were expecting their third baby together - with the reality TV stunner opening up on the "rules" for her fiance as they attempted to rebuild trust.
While Matt moved out of their home after the incident, he has since returned - with the MTV star then subject to cruel online trolling for her decision to take him back.
Now Charlotte has told of her reasoning and said: "It's been a challenging yer and i'll be glad to see the back of it.
"Of course I was fuming when I found out what Matthew had done.
"The trust has gone massively, so its been very difficult, but there is still love there and that's what's important.
"We share two boys, a house, businesses and we're engaged - it's not as easy as cutting everything off, so we are giving it one last go.
"At the moment everything is going in the right direction."
She then told how a combination of therapy and cute getaways to London and the Lake District helped patch up the cracks.
Charlotte added to Closer Magazine: "When we got back together the main thing we agreed on was that we're not getting back together just for the sake of the children.
"If things aren't right between us, it'll only get worse, and the kids will suffer."
She then told how the pair had "found their love again" through their efforts.
SHEER SHOCK
Earlier this year, we told how Charlotte was left "blindsided and humiliated" by Matt's telling "dirty" messages.
The pair had been engaged since 2020.
Matt was recently left in tears as he confessed to infidelity on Charlotte's podcast.
He explained: “I got a message off her agent who said someone’s sold a story on you.
“I was heartbroken. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep.
“I love my kids and I love Charlotte to pieces.”
Charlotte admitted: “My whole world just came crashing down. I couldn't believe it. I was shaking when I was on my way to meet him.
“I am scared he is going to do it again. That's my biggest fear.”
He added: “It's been hard because we've had kids and stuff.”
Asked if his betrayal was because he ‘missed the attention’, he revealed: “Yeah, probably.”
On ‘massively’ regretting his actions, he told Charlotte: “I just want you to know I'm yours.
“I love you. You're my life.”
