CHARLI XCX has married her drummer fiance George Daniel in London.
The pair tied the knot today at 4pm in Hackney ahead of their big, formal celebration in Sicily later this year.
Charli, 32, and The 1975 drummer George were joined by their closest family and friends for their low-key ceremony.
A source said: “Charli looked stunning in a white mini dress and George was so smart in his suit.
“This is the first of two weddings they're having.
“Charli and George will marry again in Sicily later this year but needed to do the formalities in the UK.
“Today they just had their closest friends and family with them - and they bash later this year will be a lot bigger.”
A crowd gathered around the registry office in Hackney as Charli and George walked out as man and wife.
Cheers went up as they kissed at the top of the steps, with their loved ones throwing confetti at them.
An onlooker said: “Charli and George looked so blissfully happy.
“The rain had stopped and the sun came out when they had their photographs on the steps of the registry office.
“She looked so chic in a cool mini dress.
“There were loads of people gathering around when they realised there was a wedding happening but no one expected it to be Charli.”
Fans of the pair were over the moon for them, with one writing on Instagram: "Gorgeous couple!"
Another said: "She looks so good."
A third wrote: "My royal wedding."
The ceremony comes just weeks after both stars performed epic sets at Glastonbury Festival.
The 1975 headlined the Pyramid Stage on Friday night while Charli topped The Other Stage on Saturday night, pulling in a bigger crowd than Neil Young on the site's main stage.
We revealed how George, 35, jetted off to Ibiza earlier in the week for a stag do.
Bizarre told in November 2023 that they had got engaged after dating for a year.
On plans for her wedding, Charli said earlier this year: "We’re both very chill and we kind of just want to have a party.
“Neither of us are particularly formal about marriage or care about the formalities of the ceremony or whatever.
“We just want to be together forever and have a party with our friends.”
