Charli Burnett on Why She Quit Vanderpump Rules, Why Lala Unfollowed Her and Who She "Muted," Plus If She'll Return in the Future - Reality Blurb

Charli Burnett revealed which of her former castmates unfollowed her and shared who she muted after quitting Vanderpump Rules on Tuesday’s episode of Nick Viall‘s podcast.

While opening up about her decision to leave the show just as she was set to sign her season 11 contract, Charli, 26, confirmed who blocked her and said that she muted everyone related to the series after her exit — aside from two of her ex-co-stars.

On the December 12 episode of The Viall Files, via Us Weekly, Charli said it was Lala Kent, 33, who blocked her, noting that she believes Lala is “mad at [her] still.”

“When I was with the producers, they told me something. … Then I was like, ‘Oh, she unfollowed me the other day.’ I just realized it. It probably happened a long time ago,” Charli noted, suggesting their beef was over something featured on the Pump Rules: Secrets Revealed episode of season 10.

Despite the unfollow, Charli said she’s okay with where she stands with her castmates.

“We will all talk about it one day,” she stated. “All water under the bridge. I love everyone on that show, though.”

That said, Charli, who joined the show for season eight in 2019, did mute “everybody” except Ariana Madix, 38, and Katie Maloney, 36, on social media.

“After I decided not to sign the contract, I muted all Bravo accounts, all everything. Just for six months,” she shared. “I was like, ‘I’m going to put myself so out of this world to heal certain things.’”

In addition to wanting to “heal,” Charli said she “didn’t feel aligned” with Pump Rules ahead of production on season 11 — and wanted to protect certain relationships from the cameras.

“I just couldn’t do it,” Charli explained, per Deadline. “I got the contracts, we were talking for months, everything was going good. The day it came to sign on the dotted line — I was already ready to film that night — something told me not to do it.”

“I just didn’t know where I fell into place with Vanderpump,” she added. “Where was the show going? Where is everyone else going? I just felt like I was in such a different place in my life than everyone else’s and I just didn’t feel connected in the same way.”

Charli also didn’t want to be around Tom Sandoval, 41, following his cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss, 29, who also didn’t return for season 11. As she explained, it would have made her feel “icky” being near him.

“I would rather just like maybe go hang out with Katie [Maloney] and get some cocktails and like, chill and hang out. But I also don’t need to be on Vanderpump to do that,” she said.

As for the future, Charli, who got engaged to boyfriend Corey Loftus in November, revealed she is open to returning to Vanderpump Rules for another season.
