'Obviously, I’ve seen on socials and in the press and stuff that they think maybe flirting or whatever else, but I can’t speak for that because I just see a close friendship and I just see them being there for each other really.'

However when asked how she would feel if she saw her partner behave in such a way with someone else, she admitted: 'I would think "what’s going on?" and I would feel a little bit down about it, naturally.

'But, at the same time some people have friendships and some people have that physical touch as just a normal thing.

'Sometimes a man and a woman can be friends without it being anything more.'

Ella also touched upon her relationship with actor Mickey Rourke, who agreed to leave the show after 'further use of inappropriate language' and 'instances of unacceptable behaviour'.

The behaviour was directed at fellow housemate Chris after they came to blows during a task, which came came days after the Hollywood star was given a formal warning for comments he made towards JoJo.

Mickey also made a sexual comment to Ella in the house which left her in tears.

Later Mickey got into a heated altercation with Chris, when he accused the Love Island star of 'eyeballing' him, before calling him a 'c***'.

Following the outburst Chris told his fellow housemates: 'Mickey's just Mickey, you know what I mean'.

But an emotional Ella broke down and said: 'It's fine, you can be just someone, but be mindful of what it can trigger in other people, because it's made me feel very uneasy'.

Ella said of Mickey: 'I just didn’t appreciate it, and that’s all it was.

'For me I just had distance from Mickey and that was okay.

'At the end of the day, it was one of those things and I didn’t appreciate what he said and that’s what it is.'

Taking one final swipe, she added: 'I'm just glad that I've never got to see him again.'

Ranvir asked: 'Do you think that's how most people feel in the house?'

Ella replied: 'I think a few of us do feel that way, yeah!'

The Essex girl spoke out about how he made her feel uncomfortbale during Wednesday's instalment of Late & Live.

Ella, Patsy and Angelica were disucssing the blossoming bromance between Chris and Jack P Shepherd, 37, when Ella shared that she even chose to move beds to make sure she wasn't close to Mickey.

Talking about Chris and Jack, Pasty explained: 'They were in beds next to each other,' to which Angellica turned to Ella and added: 'But he started sleeping next to you first and then he moved'.

Ella clarified: 'Yeah he moved because I moved. I was like "Jack do you mind swapping beds babe?"? But that wasn't anything to do with Chris and JoJo, it honestly wasn't.

'It was just because I was by Mickey, I didn't feel comfortable so it was best I moved away.'

Meanwhile Ella's co-star Patsy appeared on Lorraine on Thursday.

The EastEnders legend blanked Lorraine Kelly as she was grilled about Mickey, before sharing her surprise verdict on Chris and JoJo.

It came after just hours after she refused to speak in her live exit interview with Will Best, 40, and AJ Odudu, 37, when she was quizzed about the Hollywood actor.

Host Lorraine, 65, was interested to know what she thought about her co-stars, saying: 'Very early on they lost Mickey, what a strange fella that was.

'Very very odd indeed. He got quickly found out and he was gone...'

Patsy didn't look impressed with the comment and simply replied: 'Hmm, yeah' and looked down at the floor.
