'But I'm nominating you because sometimes I feel you snap at me. And sometimes I don't feel confident to help you in the kitchen – a space that I like as well.'

Things take a further awkward turn when Ella Rae Wise nominates Chris Hughes because she believes he is playing a massive game in the house.

Ella had previously spoken with her fellow housemates including Daley Thompson about how Chris and Jojo Siwa were playing up for the cameras with their close bond.

And after the news got back to Chris, Ella has now doubled down on her claims and told him to his face during nominations that she believes he's a game player.

She says: 'I'm nominating Chris. I've been told you like to play a massive game. And you come into things with a game plan. And when Daley said that to me, and told me to be careful, I can't get it out of my head.'

Chris doesn't take kindly to Ella's allegations and breaks down in tears over assertions that he is playing a game. after sparking backlash for his 'creepy' friendship with JoJo.

The former Love Island star, 32, and American dancer, 21, have set tongues wagging amid their close connection, with Chris branding her his 'girlfriend' despite JoJo already having a partner, promoting viewers to brand his behaviour disingenuous

Ella, 24, and Angellica are the latest stars to takes swipes at Chris, who eventually finds the criticism too much to bear and breaks down in the Diary Room.

Before adding: 'It just brings you down.'

Fans have had much to say about Chris' behaviour towards the much younger JoJo, which was branded 'creepy' and 'not normal' after he offered to 'have her babies'.

On Sunday Chris' brother Ben hit back at the accusations of 'game playing' and said he thinks his sibling will 'absolutely' remain friends with JoJo after they leave the CBB house.

During Sunday's Late & Live, Ben was just one of the celeb's family members to phone in and he quickly come to the defence of his beloved brother.

When asked if Chris and JoJo would remain friends, he said: 'Absolutely, I think their friendship has actually threatened the other housemates a little but which we have started to see.

'I've also said all the way though that they have shown a similar sense of humour and energy which Chris has repeated the words I have been using in the Diary Room during tonight's episode, so i do think they will remain friends.'

He took a swipe at show guest and former housemate Tiffany Pollard, saying: 'I do think Chris can hold his head high and continue being himself, it's not an act despite what Tiffany may think.'

Earlier in the episode, Angellica once again took a swipe at Chris during the latest task - days after 'exposed' his game plan.

When asked who was the biggest game player, she quickly opted for the former Love Island star saying: 'I'm going to say Chris because he has been in a reality show before and he's quite good at assessing situations and assessing people and working a room.'

She previously speculated that he may be playing a strategic game in order to win the series.

Reflecting on the karaoke night, she said: 'It's great having moments where we can all let our hair down, and enjoy ourselves.

'And you sort of forget it's a game, and you can see it. It's not that people are mean or anything, but as we get further in the game, I am paying more attention.

'I think Chris is clever, he knows how to win friends and influence. He just knows what to do, or how to say things,' she added.
