Catherine & Sean Lowe Welcome New Family Member: ‘We Have Already Grown to Love Him’

Puppy love! 

Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe famously found love and got married after Season 17 of “The Bachelor.”

Since their time on the show, they’ve welcomed three children into their family: Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia Mejia.

And now, the couple just brought home another family member that has stolen all of their hearts already.

Catherine took to Instagram to share photos of their new family dog and wrote, “Everyone, please welcome Moose! 🐾”

As fans remember, Catherine and Sean had another family dog named Gus, but they had to rehome him last year to their loving dog trainer after Gus bit Samuel on the side of the head. 

Gus has been doing amazingly well in his new home and the Lowe family still gets to see him sometimes, but they missed having a dog of their own.  

Now, Santa has answered their wish and Catherine shared more of their story of how Moose came to be a part of their family. 

She said, “Santa and Daddy took the kids’ requests for a dog for Christmas into consideration. We are happy to add this 7 year old (we think) rescue boxer into our zoo. We hope he loves us as much as we have already grown to love him.” 

Catherine also added a note that “Moose” or “Banjo” (as he’s called in one video) were not his original names and explained how they eventually decided on naming him Moose. 

“*Banjo was not his original name,” she stated. “it was the name given to him by the shelter that he didn’t respond to. We tried to call out common boxer names to see if any were ones he responded to and Moose was something we all thought he liked ❤️” 

Bachelor Nation fans filled the comments with words of love and support for Catherine and Sean’s newest family member.
