‘Carole needs taken off TV’ – Jeremy Vine viewers rage over explosive on-air clash as Carole Malone’s fiery outbursts during chaotic food debate are branded ‘absolutely vile’ and lead fans to switch off in disgust - suong

Jeremy Vine viewers raged as they watched Wednesday's instalment of the Channel 5 - and admitted that they were going to 'switch off'.

Step-in host Robert Rinder, 47, presented the programme as he was joined by the likes of journalist Carole Malone, 70, and Radzi Chinyanganya, 38, in the studio.

But some watching at home didn't agree with what Carole said throughout the whole episode as she expressed her opinion on topics, and her no-nonsense attitude certainly ruffled a few feathers.

During a discussion about Narinder Kaur's critique of Sicilian food, Carole didn't hold back and asked her: 'Why are you shouting?!' as they continued to argue about their thoughts.

As Narinder explained her thoughts, Carole snapped: 'Can someone else get in?!'

Narinder told her: 'I know good food.'
