Carl Radke Sets the Record Straight on His Role at Loverboy - Unveiling the Truth Behind His Job Title - lulu

As Summer House fans are well aware, Carl Radke returned to Kyle Cooke's beverage company, Loverboy, on a part-time basis at the end of 2023. In addition to helping develop the brand's non-alcoholic products, Carl has shared on social media that he has been attending events and promoting the company as well. So, what is Carl's exact role at Loverboy these days? Allow him to explain.

"My signature in my email is I'm the Loverboy advisor," Carl told The Daily Dish at NBCUniversal's Upfront presentation in May 2024. "Basically, what I'm focused on is business development and bringing our non-alcoholic product to market."

"I'm working part-time, but only focused really on some of the things that I'm really good at, which is building relationships, marketing, and events, and really getting the non-alcoholic product into more stores because right now it's only on our website," he continued. "The main goal is getting it to more stores like Whole Foods, Total Wine, you know, big grocery stores, or even some of the smaller places around New York City."

Carl Radke opens up about his return to Loverboy

Carl announced at BravoCon 2023 in November that he was going back to Loverboy after previously confirming in February of that year that he had left his VP of Sales role there.

"It was difficult last year, and I think it was important to step away like I did," Carl explained to The Daily Dish in a February 2024 interview, referencing the personal and professional issues between Carl and Kyle that were documented on Summer House Season 7.  "I think over the last year, Kyle and I worked on the relationship, personally, and we spent a lot of time trying to get back to a good place. Even after the [Season 7] reunion, we hugged it out and cried it out and got slowly back into kind of good old Kyle and Carl."

After returning to the company, Carl explained, "I feel like we’re on another level of understanding and friendship that feels really good."

In the Summer House season 8 After Show video above, Carl shared that re-joining the Loverboy team "seemed like such a perfect opportunity" for not only his career but his friendship with Kyle as well.

After expressing an interest in opening up a "third place" for sober people to spend time on Summer House Season 8, Carl confirmed that he was working on a non-alcoholic bar, Soft Bar + Café in 2024.

Carl's café, which will be located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, will be opening in the summer of 2025.

In a full-circle moment, Kyle revealed that he's an "advisor to the business" in an exclusive chat with The Daily Dish in February 2025.
