"Carl Radke's Heartfelt Admission: Lindsay Hubbard Remains in My Thoughts Even After Our Split"-quang

Summer House Season 9 premieres in February and viewers are once again anticipating the onscreen dynamic between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. After all, Summer House viewers watched them date, and get engaged, only to call it off months before the wedding.

Season 9 will see Carl and Lindsay back at the house. At the time of filming, the former publicist was pregnant with her daughter Gemma. It seems that the formerly betrothed couple were able to be civil to one another. And Carl now credits that to his state of mind.

Carl Radke wishes “the best” for Lindsay Hubbard

Carl and his Summer House co-star Jesse Solomon appeared on the January 10 episode of the Two Jersey J’s podcast. Host Jenn Fessler asked Carl how it was to film with Lindsay after such a bitter breakup.

“I was friends with Lindsay for many years before we got together,” Carl explained. “So, we had a foundation of friendship from 2016. I met Lindsay and we were very close as friends and continued to be very close friends. Then, obviously, we started dating. So, I had a lot of time and I still care about her and wish the best for her.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star then asked if Lindsay felt the same graciousness towards him or was there drama.

“No, but that’s why I pray for her, though,” he answered. “That’s how I release everything… by offering grace and praying for her because I really do want the best for her. And that’s how I can go live my life now… ‘Wish you the best,’ and then go focus on what I got to get done.”

It’s “important” for Carl to “address” his emotions

Unfortunately, the Summer House Season 9 trailer indicated that Lindsay didn’t want any of Carl’s prayers. Jesse pointed out that fact during the podcast. But Carl remains undeterred.

“Well, anybody who says that is the person you pray for,” Carl explained. “I have a sponsor, I work the steps, I talk about emotions and resentments and things that, ultimately, can fester and build up in your body. And it’s important for me to address it. I’m not perfect at all.”

Ultimately, Carl was drawn back to the shared house to spend time with “best friends.” And while that doesn’t include Lindsay anymore, the duo “kept it moving.”

“She’s moved on,” he added.

Summer House Season 9 premieres Wednesday, February 12 at 9/8c on Bravo.
