Look out, world: Carl Radke is single and he's just about ready to mingle. It's been more than a year since the Summer House cast member ended his engagement with his ex-fiancé, Lindsay Hubbard. And, now, Carl is ready to start anew in his dating life.
Carl revealed all of the details on his current relationship status during a Jan. 10 episode of the Two Jersey Js podcast, hosted by The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Jenn Fessler. "Yeah, I'm single," he admitted. "I've been going on some dates, putting myself back out there, which you'll see on the new season [9 of Summer House]."
But, dating again hasn't been an easy transition for Carl post-split and he was just a tiny bit awkward when it came time to meeting new people. "It took me some time to kind of get back to my own, getting my confidence level back...it took me some time to heal," he explained.
Is Carl Radke dating again after Lindsay Hubbard split?
He revealed that he has been on dates since his September 2023 breakup with Lindsay. But, he isn't rushing to get back into a relationship. "Being a very public person, it presents a layer of challenge sometimes with meeting and dating," he explained. "So I've had some things where people maybe have ulterior motives, or someone I'm interested in just doesn't want anything to do with this. So it can be either way."
However, he does have an ideal partner in mind. Carl's sobriety is so important to him that he would like a partner to have "a healthy relationship with alcohol or other substances." But she doesn't have to be sober.
"I'd like to think that I could date someone that has a healthy relationship with alcohol. I still love being social. Intelligence is important to me," he said. "I like someone I can hold a good conversation [with]. I like some depth, like I like emotional intelligence where I've been through a fair amount of things. I don't want to trauma dump on someone the first two minutes but I will."
Aside from the serious stuff, Carl revealed that he's looking for someone who can bring the "goofy side" out of him: "I'm kind of a silly guy. I like to make jokes."
And when it comes to physical attributes, Carl prefers someone who works out, is "brunette" and with "light eyes." "I do appreciate someone that doesn't necessarily — they can put on makeup and get dolled up — but for their core, without it, they're very pretty and just naturally look good," he said.
Is Carl Radke on any dating apps?
But don't expect to see Carl on any dating apps, either. During the podcast episode he revealed that he is not on apps like Hinge or Raya. Hoever, he isn't opposed to meeting people online on one specific app. "The dating app, I believe, is Instagram," he joked. "I like to meet women out in the world."

As previously stated, Carl's life as a single man will be explored on this upcoming Season 9 of Summer House. Per his official cast bio, Carl will be focusing on the new things in his life:
After a difficult few months of processing what happened last summer, Carl is ready to move forward with his life after he focuses on opening a bar and café focused on mindful consumption, Soft Bar. While he cautiously reenters the dating field, not even sharing a house with his pregnant ex-fiancé can bring Carl down.
Viewers will get to see how all of this unfolds when Summer House Season 9 premieres on Bravo with a supersized episode on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 9/8c. New episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.
