Being happily married for 45 years is something to celebrate. So when Captain Lee Rosbach and his wife, Mary Anne, reached the milestone wedding anniversary, they rewarded themselves with a stay at a plush island resort.
The couple's actual anniversary took place back in April. Since they were self-quarantined at the time in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, they held a sweet celebration at home. By October, however, the lovebirds were ready for a romantic getaway.
In a recent Instagram snap, the Below Deck boss shared a photo of himself and Mary Anne smiling big, seemingly stretched out on poolside loungers. Both vacationers looked tan, happy, and in love — and at least one of them appeared to be sipping an icy, tropical drink.
"A little relaxation on the beach for my bride and I [at JW Marriott Marco Island] finally getting to celebrate our belated 45th Anniversary," the "Stud of the Sea" wrote in his caption. "What a great place. Love it here." And indeed, the resort looks easy to love.
The upscale hotel is located on three miles of beaches, and each of its rooms has a private balcony. Plus, there's more to do than just kick back by the pool: The resort has 12 restaurants, two golf courses, and a decadent spa.
