Season 15 of The Real Housewives of New York started at full throttle. There are rumors about the cast members, and most of the credit for this pot-stirring goes to Brynn Whitfield. However, creating all this chaos came back to bite Brynn at her dinner party.
Brynn Whitfield says that “alliances change” during RHONY Season 15
During the Season 15 premiere, Brynn was confronted by an angry Erin Lichy. According to Erin, Brynn spread a rumor that Erin called Jenna Lyons “poor.” Then Sai De Silva jumped in, accusing Brynn of telling Jenna that Sai didn’t like her. It was so much for Brynn that she left her own party.
“I think [fans] can expect a lot of change. I think, honestly, it’s like, episode to episode. You’re going to see friendships and relationships change,” Brynn told US Weekly. “Alliances change.” The RHONY star admitted that her comments came off as “so dramatic,” but she doubled down on her word selection.
“You’ll see ebbs and flows,” Brynn explained. “I’ve watched the first two episodes, and in several episodes, there are people that I’m fighting with then that I’m friends with now. You know, it’s filmed over a long period of time, and these are real friendships,” she added, “so things happen, and then things don’t happen.”
Brynn doesn’t enjoy re-watching past arguments on RHONY
However, reliving the arguments with her co-stars is tough. “That’s the hardest part of it. It happened a long time ago. Now going back to rewatch it, you kind of get mad again about the stuff that you thought you were done with. It’s a lot,” Brynn stated. She may not watch any more episodes.
She continued, “It’s hard to see things said about you that you didn’t know were said at the time.” Brynn is particularly upset over some comments that Jessel Taank made regarding the comment about Jenna being “poor.”
Brynn said, “When Jessel was like, ‘Brynn fabricated a story about the silly Jenna Uber thing.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t remember it and Brynn exaggerates stories.’” She added, “I literally sent her an angry text. I was like, ‘You were on my couch. You were there at this one.’ And then she’s like, ‘Dude, chill. It’s fine.’”
And there is also a feud between Brynn and Ubah Hassan. It seems like Brynn has her hands full dealing with her fellow apple-holders this season.
Real Housewives of New York airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
