Brynn Whitfield revealed what wasn’t shown on a recent episode of Real Housewives of New York, shared a text exchanged with Sai De Silva, and responded to claims she’s a “sugar baby.”
In the episode, Brynn declared her wish to leave the Hamptons cast trip. At the time, she had issues with Sai and Ubah Hassan (who called her a snake and insinuated that Brynn was stirring up drama). Brynn also accused Ubah of yelling insults at her instead of discussing their issues.
On her Instagram Stories, Brynn addressed what wasn’t shown.
“Look, the Hamptons was week 4 or 5 into filming? Up until Hamptons, the only group activity of interest seemed to be ‘let’s destroy Brynn,'” she shared. “There was even more yelling and insult-hurling at me that actually went down at the first all cast, and it really threw me for a loop.”
“The weeks leading up to the Hamptons were filled with dread. The name calling was baseless, mean-spirited, and incessant. And I didn’t stand up for myself. I’d disassociate and/or cry,” she said. “And at the final Hamptons breakfast, there was more that actually went down, putting hands in faces and hurling curse words. It’s surreal to be on the receiving end of that stuff. So at the end of the Hamptons, I was exhausted.”
In another post, she addressed a fan cryptically asking why she left Sai “on read” during filming.
“I didn’t leave anyone on read,” she said, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “I received an apology text [from Sai] on Friday evening, and I responded on Monday. Waiting the weekend to reply to someone who cursed you out in public is not ‘the ultimate form of disrespect.’ It’s actually self-respect and setting healthy boundaries with friends.”
She then leaked the end of Sai’s alleged apology text asking Brynn to let her know if she was “open to having a coffee” – presumably to be filmed.
Brynn responded on Monday, “Hi hunnie sorry for the delay I needed to chill. Look we’re cool. I thought we were so I’d like to be. Or at least working toward that again. I really don’t want to fight with you anymore, on camera or off. It makes me physically ill. And it’s dumb. I just want to have fun and do dumb s**t, and enjoy this crazy process and make money with all you.”
She added that the upcoming week would be “crazy” for her because she got a new job – and therefore couldn’t film for the show that week.
“I’d love to just move on, if you’re cool with that? But hear if you want or feel like we need to talk. And whatever you need from me, let me know…”
In another text, she added, “And… I really think we should wake up at 2am in the Hamptons and toilet paper Erin’s house.”
In a separate post, she addressed what she does for a living.
The star explained that a “consultant” needs at least 7 years experience but takes on “projects that you’re good at” instead of dealing with office drama or facing clients.
“Only downside,” she said, “is most people won’t be able to comprehend what you do so you will be called a Sugar Baby.”
