Brynn Whitfield is officially done with The Real Housewives of New York — and she’s finally revealing what (or who) pushed her to close that apple-filled chapter.
Let’s be honest: most Bravolebs don’t walk away from their shows unless the decision’s already been made for them.
More often than not, the network grants those on the chopping block a graceful exit — a “choose your own adventure” farewell, if you will.
(See: Garcelle Beauvais, Lexi Wood.)
So when Brynn, once the fan-favorite firecracker of the reboot, announced her departure, many assumed she was simply reading from the same playbook. But according to her, it was Paige DeSorbo who gave her the push.
“I read her thing and I got a little peanut butter jealous,” Brynn admitted. “I was like, I want that.”
What exactly is “that”?
For Brynn, it was the freedom. The pressure release. The ability to say no more on her own terms.
The RHONY alum confessed her heart hadn’t been in it for some time — but she waited for casting to shake out for season 16, secretly hoping Bravo would make the call for her.
But when they didn’t, Brynn did. And with the recent success of her dating app Poppy, she had the perfect excuse — and the perfect timing — to peace out.
