Browns Fire Back After NFL’s Shocking Myles Garrett Announcement

Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett just finished off another outstanding individual NFL campaign.

Through 17 regular-season games, Garrett recorded 14.0 sacks, 28 quarterback hits and a league-leading 22 tackles for loss. This impressive stat line marks Garrett's fourth consecutive season with at least 14.0 sacks.

Garrett has earned some recognition for his stellar campaign.

The Associated Press announced the All-Pro teams on Friday, and Garrett received the first-team nod for the fourth time in his professional career. Garrett has now been recognized as a first-team All-Pro pass rusher in four of the last five seasons.

The Browns took to social media with a response to Garrett's accomplishment on Friday.

"Congrats to our guy Myles on earning Associated Press first team All-Pro! The AP All-Pro team is chosen by a national panel of 50 NFL media members," the Browns wrote in a post on X.

Despite Garrett's outstanding play on the defensive side of the ball, the Browns finished the 2024 regular season with a disappointing 3-14 record. Cleveland closed out the year with six consecutive losses.

“I mean first of all I want to win. I want the Browns to be able to put me and us in position to win. I’m not trying to rebuild,” Garrett said after the Browns' Week 18 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. “I want that to be apparent, when the season’s over and we have those discussions, I want them to be able to illuminate that for me, illustrate that for me, so that can be something that I can see in the near future.”

Garrett will look to continue his string of impressive All-Pro seasons when he returns to the field in 2025.
