The Cleveland Browns are at a crossroads at the running back position.
Nick Chubb's contract expires at the end of the season, and after suffering another devastating knee injury last season, the Browns could, at the very least, begin thinking about moving on from him.
Even if general manager Andrew Berry decides to bring Chubb back for another season in Cleveland, getting younger at that position is always a good idea.
AtoZ Sports has just released its latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft and shows the Browns to do just that by selecting Kansas running back Devin Neal in the fourth round.
"There might not be a bigger hooper at the running back position than Neal. He's been really good for the Jayhawks over the last few years. Neal can thrive in any offense as both a runner and a receiver with some pass-blocking chops. This running class is insanely deep, meaning you can wait until later to get a starter."
Neal tallied 1,266 yards on 219 carries with 16 touchdowns last season and added another 254 yards through the air on 24 catches.
Neal is widely regarded to be a dual-purpose back, and that's something that could benefit the Browns offense heading into the future.
Even if playing behind Chubb for one season in Cleveland, Neal could be the future of the franchise at running back, and there's no better time than now to start building.
