Bronwyn Newport is quickly becoming a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC). Not only is she able to hold her own against OGs like Heather Gay, but she's also open about her life in a way that some newcomers don't manage.
Recently, she shared details about her daughter Gwen and her complicated relationship with her estranged grandparents. She also revealed what embarrassed her the most about Todd Bradley and responded to Heather digging into her personal life.
In a recent interview with E! News, Bronwyn discussed her daughter and whether her relationship with her grandparents has changed since it was revealed on the show. Bronwyn said, "I haven’t heard directly from them, but they definitely want to reach out to Gwen. Because she’s about to turn 18 and become an adult, I still want to be involved in managing that communication, but of course, she needs to handle that herself too.”
While Gwen’s relationship with her grandparents remains uncertain, Bronwyn didn’t shy away from talking about her relationship with her ex's parents. "I don’t think there’s really anything for them and me to discuss,” she shared. "But I really hope they have a lot to say to Gwen: 'We’re sorry, and we really want to know you.'"
However, what truly embarrassed Bronwyn on the show had to do with Todd Bradley. She revealed that facing personal issues and judgment from others made her rethink her relationship with Todd. Although she didn’t go into detail, her revelations have sparked curiosity among fans about the conflicts between her and Todd.
She explained, "When Todd and I had issues in our relationship, I didn’t think I was ready to face those complicated feelings. Honestly, that’s the most embarrassing part for me, having to reveal that to the public."
Along with discussing her relationship with Todd, Bronwyn didn’t hesitate to criticize Heather Gay, who has been digging into her private life. When Heather started "digging" and commenting on Bronwyn's life, she couldn't keep quiet. “Heather is a very tough person, and her comments haven’t been pleasant,” Bronwyn said. "Honestly, I was really frustrated when she went too far in trying to investigate my house and my personal matters. She’s a ‘sharp-tongued one,’ always digging into everything.”
However, Bronwyn also admitted that some of Heather's comments might have been somewhat justified. She explained, "I lost control, I was busy that day. I had a new puppy. It was snowing, and that was [completely] on me. If the film crew caught the scene with dog poop in my house, I’d show it to them if I was also producing the show."
Looking ahead to her future on RHOSLC, Bronwyn expressed a desire to continue on the show. "I really hope Bravo invites me back for another season because I feel people need to see that I don’t live in this empty tomb. My house is finally almost finished," she shared.
She added, "In this empty house, there's no longer the phrase 'Hello, hello, hello!'"
