Brittany Cartwright admits to being "jealous" of Ariana on Pump Rules, reveals why Jax Taylor refused to leave home for her and Cruz, and updates on her life

Brittany Cartwright hinted at “jealousy” against Ariana Madix in the cast of Vanderpump Rules, and claimed her estranged husband Jax Taylor refused to leave their home amid their separation.

In the wake of Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal, his ex Ariana received countless endorsement deals and entertainment opportunities. In the current season, as Lala Kent and Scheana Shay question Ariana’s behavior toward the cast, fans have accused them of jealousy.

“I think it’s obvious there’s a little bit of jealousy going on in that show,” said Brittany on the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast, via @byewhighellodrama on Instagram. “I’m definitely happy for [Ariana]. And I know that they’re all happy for her. I think that everybody’s just like, ‘Well, why isn’t this happening to me?'”

She hinted that Scheana is both “happy” for Ariana – but also “want[s] to do” the same things Ariana is doing.

“Well I know [castmates have] also been upset because people say things behind the scenes and then don’t say it on … camera,” Brittany added. “I think that’s been an issue all season long on Vanderpump … I mean Lala’s super open about it.”

Brittany then addressed her separation from Jax.

“It seems like we’re together a lot more than we are but I’m still staying at a separate house,” she said, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram, and explained that she only went public with it because “Instagram investigators” could tell that she was staying at a different place.

Brittany claimed Jax was really “really stubborn” – and wouldn’t leave the house so she and Cruz could stay there.

“Even if I paid for the Airbnb, which I offered,” she said. The star also expressed that she and Jax have separate finances, which she’s “very” happy about now.

Brittany teased that the “fight” which led to her “breaking point” with Jax will be discussed in the current season of The Valley.
