Teddi Mellencamp’s Home Targeted in Attempted Robbery

Teddi and her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, had a close call Monday night when two individuals attempted to break into their Los Angeles residence — while they were home.
A source confirmed to Page Six that “thankfully, their security system worked, the police got there quickly, and the perpetrators ran away.”
ICYMI: Edwin is the founder and CEO of Skyline Security, which immediately notified authorities of the attempted break-in.
Teddi took to Instagram with a joint statement on behalf of herself and Edwin:
“We are grateful that everyone is unharmed. While we are shaken, we are fortunate to have the latest in home security systems which scared off the intruders. Authorities were alerted and swiftly responded. We appreciate everyone’s heightened concern in light of recent criminal activities in our area, but we are safe.”

Teddi is now the third Real Housewife of Beverly Hills to face a home invasion.
• Kyle Richards’ Encino mansion was burglarized back in December 2017, while her family was vacationing in Aspen. Thieves made off with over $1 million in jewelry and valuables.
• Dorit Kemsley suffered a terrifying home invasion in October 2021, when three masked men broke in and held her at gunpoint — all while her young children were in the house.
Teddi’s close call also reignites past speculation from RHOBH fans: Was it Edwin’s security company that installed Dorit’s system? That theory made waves in 2021 when the burglary left viewers questioning Skyline Security’s reliability.
Whatever your take — we’re just relieved no one was harmed during this frightening ordeal.
