Teddi Mellencamp thinks it’s for the best for her and for the cast if she stays off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the time being.
The 44-year-old has been blunt about the challenges of living with brain tumors, after revealing in April that her cancer has reached Stage 4.
Most recently, Teddi opened up about the side effects from treatment in an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show.
When asked if she would consider returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she admitted, “Yeah, no. I don’t have the bandwidth for it right now. I’m not somebody who likes to do something when I can’t be good at it.”
The reality TV alum explained that it would be challenging for her to film after undergoing multiple brain surgeries.
“I feel like my words are a little stuttery sometimes, and it doesn’t mean I’m telling a lie,” Teddi explained to Jamie Kern Lima.
“Some people have to relearn to talk after having the surgeries that I had,” detailed John Mellencamp’s daughter. ‘The fact that I can do as much as I can do, I’m so blessed for. But it still happens to me, and some days are very bad.”
Teddi expressed that she does not think it would work well for Bravo.
“Some days, I’m just stumbling word over word, and I would hate to be on a show like that and have somebody think that I was not being honest, and really, I was just struggling,” she continued.
