On July 5, Houston Stevenson passed away, and his mother, Ronnie Stevenson, has been in mourning.
“My Beautiful Beautiful boy. My BEST friend. The true love of my life !! My Heart and Soul have gone with yours!!” Ronnie, former Real Housewives of Vancouver star, wrote on Instagram. “There are no words. I am decimated, my child how will I I ever live with out you. I cannot walk. I cannot eat. I cannot think, I am in fetal position! Our lives will NEVER be the Same.”

According to a fan on Reddit, it appears Houston died by suicide.
“I’m just devastated for her,” the fan wrote on their post in r/BravoRealHousewives. “My over riding memory of Houston was when Ronnie dropped him back to boarding school and pulled up in her seaplane at the school. All Houston’s friends had the hots for Ronnie and they were teasing him. Peak Housewives moment.”
Houston’s sister, Charley, explained more on her Instagram.
“My beautiful brother took his life yesterday. I have no words,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “You carried so much pain yet saved so many people. You were truly one of a kind, and you were so special to me.”
She continued:
A piece of me died with you. I will never be the same but I will carry on your name for you and be strong because that’s what he would have wanted. I miss you more than anything my big brother. You were so kind and talented. Rest in peace my angel until we meet again.
Fans were quick to mourn alongside the family.
“This is such a tragedy. Ronnie has always talked about how close she is with Houston and how much she loves him,” one fan wrote on the Reddit post. “ I'm friends with his older brother on Facebook and he posted a heartbreaking statement about losing his brother. I lost a brother when I was younger so I know how these wounds never really heal. Sending all my condolences to the family.”
“I've followed her on Instagram over the years and she has made so many posts in the past about how much she loves him, he seemed extra special to her. I can't even imagine,” added another.
Ronnie and her son have been open about their struggles with alcoholism and addiction, and according to one Reddit user, the two had been sober for over a year.
