Things are winding down with this current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Regarding the cast, one of the standouts has been newbie Bozoma Saint John. Not only has she had business success off-camera, but she brings a dynamic personality to the series. Now, she’s opening up about the season, where she stands with Sutton Stracke, and her newfound friendship with Dorit Kemsley.
As fans know, Boz had ties to Sutton before being cast on the show as a full-time housewife. However, as the episodes aired, viewers noticed a shift in their relationship.
Recently, Boz appeared on Bravo‘s Hot Mic podcast. She begins by discussing the reunion and the experience of watching the show. She says, “There’s some things that I feel like were put to bed and then in watching the show and hearing people say stuff, it’s like, what’s going to be unearthed again.”
She went on, “You know, it’s like I don’t know if Kyle knew that I thought she was a liar or that I think she is a liar. Let me make that correct. That girl was lying, so I don’t know if she knows that I thought that, but she does now, and what does she think now about that? I believe that she believes that she was in the right, and I firmly believe she was in the wrong.”
From there, Boz says she would like to know if Kyle has since had a change of heart about her decision to continue texting Paul “PK” Kemsley. The topic of Sutton then came up and how their relationship has devolved. According to Bozoma, “Well, I’m very surprised at the Sutton who showed up in our conversations and in this season. I am shocked by it because she’s not the person I anticipated.”
She went on, “Sutton has got an opinion. She is sharp. She’s witty. She is a good friend. You know, will show up for those who need her or want her in their lives, and so to see her pull experiences and then turn them on people, or to be really mean, for me, that’s what was so surprising to me.”
The RHOBH newbie continued, “I just didn’t anticipate that Sutton would be so mean, and so I don’t know who this version of a person is and whether or not she is trustworthy from now on out. I have no idea. I feel like she’s one of those people that I will watch my back with.”
Sutton discussing Dorit’s fiances then came up, and Boz said, “Now that was a low blow, my god. There will always be somebody richer and somebody skinnier. There is no way that she should be picking on anybody about anybody’s wallet, OK? She didn’t make that money herself, so we should actually be talking to her man. I’m like, she wants to talk about wallet size. Show me the money you made, and then we’ll see who wins.”
Boz continued, “It’s been very surprising to me also to think that some of these ladies think that I am so easily swayed. I just don’t know how that would be possible. It’s like, if you know who I am, do you think that I’ve survived all these companies, all of these jobs by being led by the nose by somebody. It’s not possible. Promise you.”
This then led to a discussion about her friendship with Dorit and how some of the ladies felt she aligned herself with her too soon. She said, “If Dorit is putting on a show and I’m like enjoying this experience with her, and then I see something different in a little while, then I’ll call it when I see it.”
She added, “But so far, homegirl flew to New York to spend my birthday with me. Nobody else flew. It was very, very sweet. It was a whole sleepover. She stayed in my suite with me. We drank champagne. We talked sh**. It was great.”
The podcast host, Alex Baskin, then asked how she would react if Dorit and PK got back together. She responded by saying, “Look, if she gets back together with him, that’s her business, honestly. I think that the behavior up until this point has been very suspicious, but if she wants to do it, girl, go ahead, but I’m gonna be sitting there with one eye like this[she squints] looking at him.”
In the end, Alex jokes with her about texting PK, and she says, “For the record, I would not be texting my girlfriend’s man. Not on any day of the week, and if I did, we’d be in a group text together.”
