Bill Guerin brutally calls out New York Rangers defenseman after Team USA's opening roster was announced

The New York Rangers' Adam Fox was snubbed by Team USA today. Olympic rosters are forming, and as we expected, the first six players of each country's roster were posted on social media, with much fanfare. But for Adam Fox, he remains an outlier for the 2026 Olympics in Milano Cortina.Adam Fox

The New York Rangers' Adam Fox did fairly well in the Four Nations Face-Off, but according to Team USA Bill Guerin, not his best.
Fox would play 4 games for Team USA, and unbeknownst to him, his future head coach, Mike Sullivan.
His performance, arguably, wasn't the best, as he would come away with 0 points for the tournament. But if you take a look at who's been announced before him, the Boston Bruins' Charlie McAvoy?

The Bruins defenseman who's been injured for a significant amount of time? A total snub by Bill Guerin.
Instead, Brady Tkachuk and McAvoy get prime billing.
The kind of mental gymnastics Bill Guerin is exercising here is quite astounding. It's a wonder he's built a winning roster anywhere at all ( he hasn't).
As the lineups continue to form for the 2026 Olympics, Guerin tries to assure us he's in the mix. But with no concrete proof as of yet, it seems like a good way to deflect criticism.
Fox may not have had his best year in 2024-25, but in the NHL, he still managed to post 61 points (10-51) in 74 games with the Rangers this season.
The 2026 Winter Olympics take place in Milano Cortina, and we hope to see Adam Fox in a Team USA uniform soon.
