Bethenny Frankel revealed the names of certain reality stars who have messaged her concerning the discussion about mistreatment in the industry amid her call for a reality TV union.
The Real Housewives of New York alum also shaded host Andy Cohen’s “gotcha moments” on Watch What Happens Live, and she said he “knows everything” about what “goes on” in entertainment.
According to certain reports, Bethenny is leading a legal war against Bravo and NBC over their allegedly unfair treatment of the stars.
In an ET interview, when asked which celebs have reached out to her, Bethenny shared, “I got a message from Hannah Berner, Katlyn Bristow, Chrissy Tegan, JWoww, people from Love Is Blind, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, Summer House, Paige DeSorbo.”
She went on to say, “These are people that are messaging me back. They’re listening. They’re interested.”
According to fan account @byewighellodrama, Bethenny recently tagged several Bravolebrities who have contacted her with interest in getting involved in the potential union. Some of the stars included Paige, Hannah, Tom Sandoval, and Stassi Schroeder.
In her interview with ET, Bethenny was also asked about Andy’s place in the current discussion.
“Andy Cohen is very involved in negotiations, and he produces the shows and he knows everything about goes what goes on inside entertainment. He’s quite knowledgeable of what the television industry represents and what it means. And he’s knowledgeable as a producer and as an observer and as a monetizer of this dynamic,” Bethenny answered.
“His show is designed for gotcha moments,” she went on, “…in exchange for them [getting] promotion for whatever they’re doing. It’s a quid pro quo. What Andy doesn’t know with institutional knowledge is what it feels like to be a degraded member of reality television, and a person that experiences gotcha moments and is always the last one to know and is effectively treated like a well-paid famous handmaid.”
