Bethenny Frankel Reveals the “Only Thing” Her RHONY Costars “Never Fought” Her On and Offers Advice to Kim Kardashian Amid Kanye West Battle Over Daughter North

Bethenny Frankel revealed the “only thing” her Real Housewives of New York co-stars “never fought me on,” and she shared her advice for Kim Kardashian amid custody disputes with her ex-husband, Kanye West, who’s the father of her four children.

According to reports, Kanye went against Kim’s wishes and dropped a song featuring their daughter, North, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Last September, Diddy was charged with racketeering and sex trafficking. At one point, Kanye shared his contentious text exchange with Kim.

In a March 15 Instagram video, Bethenny reflected on her time at Bravo.

“The only thing that the Housewives never fought me on … was that I was to order for the table [at restaurants],” said the star, who posts food reviews on social media. “Ramona used to be like, ‘Bethenny … I like the way you order.’ Sonja [also]. I mean, it’s the only thing we ever could all agree upon.”

“So I feel like I’m in a decent position to talk about food,” she said. “Just ask Ramona. She gets to talk about pinot grigio. I would never choose the pinot.”

In another video, Bethenny addressed the situation with Kim.

“[Here’s] my advice to Kim Kardashian, as someone who has been through a horrific decade-long divorce on a two-year marriage –- and got primary custody and no child support that I had to pay,” said Bethenny, who finalized her divorce from Jason Hoppy in 2021 after a lengthy custody war. “Here’s the deal, the media is focused on the trademark, like who owns the trademark of North West because she’s been featured on a Kanye-Diddy song, which is alarming at best.”

“Kim is texting Kanye, who is not a rational person … She should not be speaking to him at all,” she added. “She should be speaking to him by proxy. Somebody else should be the one interacting with him because, again, he’s not rational. He’s sharing her texts, and that’s a violation.”

According to Bethenny, what’s “most critical” in custody battles is the “decision-making” powers.

“If Kim has decision-making, then it’s irrelevant whether or not she has the trademark for her daughter,” she said. “A judge doesn’t care about trademarks as much. That’s a business lawyer. A judge that focuses on custody matters is always focused on what is in the best interest of the child.”

As for Bethenny’s case, she said the judge “applauded” her for moving out of her and Jason’s shared apartment because of “circumstances … going on within the house.” She also was “applauded” for buying her own house amid the divorce because it gave her a “safe space” emotionally to “be with my child.”
