Bethenny Frankel Gives Update on Chanel: ‘You Lost Me’-quang

Bethenny Frankel has made a name for herself for being outspoken on a number of versatile issues. It could be as mundane as an ineffective skin car product that she often rates, or something as important as providing emergency relief through B Strong foundation.

The Real Housewives of New York alum does things her way, love it or hate it. Bethenny’s got an extensive social media following. And she shares her commentary on all things, including Chanel.

Bethenny Frankel recalled the “emotional experience”

The entrepreneur’s beef with the designer store started in May when she showed up without an appointment and was turned away.

The “elitist” store got an earfull of Bethenny’s distate and the video went viral.  She even teased getting a Chanel tattoo to keep the topic alive. Without any real resolution from Chanel, the RHONY alum recalled the incident because she was being interviewed on the topic of appointment shopping.

“I did speak on the fact that it is an emotional experience,” Bethenny said in the new video. “99.9 per cent of the people can’t afford to buy a Chanel bag or piece of clothing, so they’re going in there and buying the lip gloss, or buying the entry point thing, and that those were the exact people that this incident alienated.”

Bethenny decided to “troll” Chanel “all they want”

The troubling incident in May was made all the worse because of how the Skinnygirl founder was spoken to. Rather than feeling excited to shop, she felt like a “fool” for being turned away. And Bethenny is not alone in her experience.

“So, for a big multimillion dollar brand that does twenty billion a year, to make you feel like a schmuck for daring to want to walk inside and gaze at their thing when you’ve bought a lip gloss or a fragrance for someone, now you lost me,” she stated.

The former Bravolebrity still wears Chanel however. But her enthusiasm to do so has been eliminated since May.

“I do still wear Chanel, I own it, I can troll them all they want, I paid for it with my own money,” Bethenny shared. “Chanel, I’m done with it.”

Real Housewives of New York premieres Tuesday October 1 at 9/8c on Bravo.
