Aesha Scott of the “Below Deck” franchise will be on another reality television show with her fiancé Scott Dobson.
“The cat’s out of the bag!! Scott and I are lucky enough to be competing in Season 9 of ‘The Amazing Race Australia’!!!!!” she announced in a March 18 Instagram post.
She wrote, “I cannot [emphasize] this enough….. THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE. It has been a bucket list dream of mine since I was 13 and the fact I am here right now in our first location is SO SURREAL.”
“Added to that is the fact that I get to do this with my love by my side, making memories that will last us a lifetime and that we can one day show our future kiddies. Lucky and grateful are understatements,” Scott continued.
The chief stew made sure to give a shout-out to her fellow contestants and called them, “incredible, talented humans.”
On March 16, Australian news outlet News.com reported that several famous faces were spotted at Sydney Airport, presumably on to film “Amazing Race Australia.”
Along with Scott and Dobson, Melissa Leong of “Dessert Masters,” Rob Mills from “Australian Idol,” and his fiancée Georgie Tunny were caught on camera.
Australian personal trainer Tiffiny Hall and her husband Ed Kavalee were also at the airport, as well as past “Big Brother” host, Gretel Killeen.
Host of the radio show Triple M, Beau Ryan, will resume his duties as “Amazing Race Australia” host News.com confirmed.
Scott’s last television stint was season 9 of “Below Deck Mediterranean,” which aired in 2024. The reality star was reunited with Captain Sandy Yawn, whom she had met as a stew in seasons 4 and 5.
This time, she came back as a chief stew and found herself navigating drama between her interior team members, Elena Dubaich and Bri Muller.
Despite some rough patches, Scott looked forward to the season airing and wrote in May 2024 on Instagram before the season 9 premiere episode, “It is SUCH a good season, I think you’ll laugh and cry and stress out and celebrate but mostly laugh with us. There are some really hilarious moments.”
She added, “I also grew again as a Chief Stew and it was an intense but rewarding journey as always, as the role of Chief becomes second nature I am tested in new ways.”
