Below Deck season 12 is just around the corner, and some of the potential yachtie cast members have viewers excited for a dramatic season of the nautical series. While Below Deck season 11 doesn’t seem like too distant a memory, the series will be returning for Below Deck season 12 very soon. With a team led by Captain Kerry Titheradge once again, the crew of yachties that will be hopping aboard the superyacht for the next season of the series could feature some incredibly familiar faces, along with some new yachties to potentially ruffle some feathers, or fit right in.
Below Deck season 12 could be an entirely different adventure than viewers are used to with the series. While the show could be going back to its roots in some ways, it appears to be venturing off into a different realm after Below Deck season 11, where crew drama ran rampant. While Captain Kerry has a similar hold on the Below Deck fan base to Captain Lee Rosbach, there’s been less of the new Captain on the show for viewers to follow along with and form opinions about. Even so, Captain Kerry and his new crew will get major screen time.

The Season Should Be Released In The New Year
Although it feels like Below Deck season 11 just came to an end, Below Deck season 12 is coming sooner than viewers would think. Though the series is typically annual, the drama of Below Deck season 11 is still fresh in viewers’ minds. With Ben Willoughby and Captain Kerry having struggles throughout the season to Barbie Pascual and Fraser Olender’s epic fights, the last season of the series was a major one.
While the cast of Below Deck season 11 featured some familiar faces, like Chief Stew Fraser and Captain Kerry himself, the majority of the crew were new to the series. One of the biggest clashes of the season was between Barbie and her fellow stews, as she had issues with both Cat Baugh and Xandi Olivier at different times. On top of her issues with her peers, she had issues with Fraser throughout the season that brought continued drama to the show.

Below Deck Season 11 Returnees Will Be Back
Below Deck season 12 won’t see Barbie back to the superyacht crew, but her boatmance is reportedly coming back for another season of the series. According to Below Deck fans who have witnessed filming, Kyle appears to be returning for another season with the Captain and Fraser. Another familiar face who will likely be back is Chef Anthony Iracane, who Captain Kerry had to let go during Below Deck season 11 for his overwhelming disorganization. Deckhand Marie “Sunny” Marquis, who’s now in a relationship with Below Deck season 11’s Ben, will likely be back for another charter season as well.

Other Alumni Could Return As Well
Although five of the Below Deck season 12 crew members appear to be familiar faces, there are other people viewers would be interested in seeing on the series. Viewers would love to see the return of Chef Rachel Hargrove in the future, as well as Heather Chase, if Fraser is ever in need of a break as Chief Stew. While alumni are always welcome on Below Deck, the next season’s crew appears to have their hands full with returnees as it is.
