Below Deck Sailing Yacht Officially Canceled Before Season 6 Leaving Fans Stunned and Questioning Bravo’s Unexpected Decision

Is Bravo's Below Deck Sailing Yacht Returning for Season 6?

Bravo announced several Below Deck renewals but is Sailing Yacht coming back for season 6?

The network revealed their upcoming slate on Wednesday, May 7, with Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down Under on the roster ahead of Below Deck’s upcoming return in June. The only current Below Deck iteration missing from the list was Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

A source revealed to Us Weekly that “no decisions have been made” yet about Sailing Yacht’s future.

The most recent season wrapped up in January with returning cast members Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, first officer Gary King and deckhand Chase Lemacks. The rest of the crew included Davide Morosi, Cloyce Martin, Diana Cruz, Danni Warren, Keith Allen and Emma Crouch.

Bravo usually airs the Below Deck franchise in back-to-back order: Below Deck Med, Below Deck, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Down Under. (Below Deck Adventure, which aired one season from later 2022 to early 2023, has not been added back into the circulation yet.)

Below Deck Sailing Yacht has made headlines over the years for everything from paternity drama between Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux to a tumultuous romance between Adam Glick and Jenna MacGillivray to Daisy, 37, and Gary’s will-they-or-won’t-they romance.

“Don’t screw the crew. That rule is there for a reason,” Daisy exclusively told Us in November 2023. “I think [I also learned to] just kind of accept my emotions and not be too hard on myself and still try to keep business and pleasure separate. But I don’t think I’ll ever be an expert at that.”

Shortly before season 5 aired on Bravo, a production assistant from the show accused Gary, 36, of making unwanted advances while filming season 4. (In February, Gary, Bravo and NBC were all sued by two former crew members for allegedly covering up the sexual misconduct.)

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim, writing via Instagram in November 2024, “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down.”

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement, which read, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

All iterations of Below Deck are currently streaming on Peacock. Below Deck returns with a supersized premiere that airs on Bravo Monday, June 2, at 8 p.m. ET.
