Beauvais, who joined the show during season 10 in 2020, announced she was departing the series after five years with a surprising post on Instagram.

In the video, the "Coming to America" star acknowledged the "wild ride" she's been on since joining the Bravo family. "... some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it's been a ride nevertheless," she said.

Despite the fun experiences, Beauvais revealed that she wanted to spend more time focusing on her family and other work projects.

"One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys," the actress said. "Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now, but you’ll know soon."

On his radio show, Cohen addressed Beauvais and her decision to depart the series. He told his co-host that he and the mother of three had a "serious talk" before she appeared on his talk show, "Watch What Happens Live."

According to him, the pair had been "texting" after Beauvais' reunion performance, which Cohen said put her "not in a good place" with some of the other women.

“She had a reunion that you will see play out, and I’m not gonna [speak on it]; you’ll just watch it," he said on air, per Us Weekly.

Later, Cohen said he spoke with Beauvais and described the conversation as "one of the most real" he'd ever had, which ended with the latter choosing herself over the cameras.

However, according to the Bravo patriarch, he told Beauvais to give the network a call "in a year" if she's up for returning.

Sources Claim Garcelle Beauvais Was Allegedly Blindsided At The Reunion

According to Kempire, a popular and trusted YouTuber and blogger, one of the reasons Beauvais departed "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" was that her co-star, Bozoma Saint John, allegedly blindsided her at the reunion.

In a new video shared online, Kempire claimed that at the reunion, Saint John mentioned Beauvais' previous comments about Dorit Kemsley's 2021 robbery, seemingly implying that it was staged, and allegedly said she would've sued Beauvais for defamation if she were in Kemsely's position.

But it didn't stop there. Kempire also explained how Saint John allegedly referenced an "RHOBH" after-show moment in which Sutton Stracke said something about the former being an angry or aggressive woman in front of Beauvais, who apparently didn't defend her, causing Beauvais to leave the set before the special wrapped.

Beauvais' exit was shown during the reunion trailer, which became available to stream on March 25, 2025. "I'm just so f-cking sick of it," she said. "I can't be friends with people like that. I don't trust them."

Fans Are Reacting To Rumors About The Reunion

Online, Bravo fans have been responding to the news that Beauvais may have been blindsided during the upcoming reunion special.

"Clearly Garcelle got these ladies PRESSED! She has options and can walk away from the housewives check. Some of her coworkers, on the other hand ... CANNOT," a user posted on X.

"Good on Garcelle for leaving," a second user wrote. "They will turn on Boz. I guarantee it. She thinks she's in good with these b-tches, and they are all for themselves. Kyle [Richards] is definitely coming for her next season."

A third netizen shared similar feelings and praised Beauvais for staying true to herself on the platform.

"Garcelle never queer-baited, faked a divorce, or stoked a gay panic for a storyline. She also wasn't party to defrauding innocent victims. A class act on a show that's become classless. #RHOBH," they commented.

Cohen and Kempire's comments about Beauvais being in the hot seat at the reunion isn't the first time the reality star has faced pushback from her co-stars.

In 2022, Richards blasted Beauvais for insisting that she was closer to her sister, Kathy Hilton, than she was.

"What Garcelle said last night on 'Watch What Happens Live' really hurt my feelings. I was shocked," Richards said during an Amazon live event. "Regardless of if Kathy and I are having an issue right now or not, I just thought that was really hurtful. I like Garcelle, and we are fine, but that really took me back. It ruined my whole night."
