On Thursday evening, the Strictly Come Dancing companion show It Takes Two experienced a surprising moment. The segment featured professional dancer Dianne Buswell discussing her costume with her celeb dance partner Chris McCausland present.
Things got off to an intriguing start when host Janette Manrara invited Dianne to catch a glimpse of her upcoming performance attire for Musicals Week during a conversation with the show's costume designer, Vicky Gill. Janette eagerly prompted: "Dianne, come on over! We're about to see your sketch are you excited? " Dianne, clearly thrilled, responded, "I'm very excited! Go on Vicky! ".
As they unveiled that Dianne would be quickstepping to "You're The Top" from Anything Goes in a chic ensemble consisting of a white tailored top paired with blue-green bottoms, she couldn't contain her enthusiasm and blurted out, "Oh that's so cute! "
Suddenly aware of her faux pas, Dianne sheepishly apologised to Janette: "Sorry, I spat on you, so sorry about that, sorry about that! " In response, Janette lightheartedly affirmed their friendship. Reflecting on her costume, Dianne remarked, "That is really cute, I love it! ", while Vicky detailed the preparatory process.
Dianne expressed admiration for the design, playfully scoring: "Beautiful! It's a ten from me, Vicky! ".
During Saturday night's episode of Strictly Come Dancing, Tess Daly brought the show to a heartwarming pause to allow Dianne Buswell's father to deliver a special message to his daughter. The host said: "Now, since week three, Chris and Dianne have had one goal - to dance live in front of Dianne's parents.", reports the Mirror.
