THE Bachelorette's final contestant Devin Strader has shared his side of the story as to why he shockingly dumped ex Jenn Tran.
Last week on the dramatic season finale, Jenn, 26, revealed that Devin, 28, suddenly called off their relationship via a phone call.
On Tuesday, Devin took to Instagram to share his truth on what went down on the season finale of The Bachelorette.
The star began, "I know there are plenty of people upset with me right now, but I wanted to come on here to hopefully give a little more context to the situation."
Devin explained that this was an attempt to prove to fans that it was a "two-way relationship" and that they should "both be held accountable."
He said, "I’m in no way sitting here trying to say I was perfect throughout that relationship but I am looking to clear up a few rumors and the false narrative that is being said about me."

In the 13-minute-long video, Devin showcased countless text messages between him and Jenn, who was under the contact name Coco Chanel.
'WASN'T MY INTENTION'
In the screenshots, he showed him and Jenn's conversation just hours before taking the stage during the finale where Jenn said she would "always be rooting for him" and that she is "not perfect."
Devin had the belief that he and Jenn were "on good terms."
"I didn’t wanna fight with her. That wasn’t my intention. I never intended to go up there and bicker. I felt that was what she needed in the moment and that was that," he said.
He also explained why he ended the engagement over the phone, but claimed that he wanted to meet up and call it off in person.

"I did try to meet up with her. I did try to go to the happy couple and she did not let me.
"She kinda forced my hand," he alleged.
He also shared multiple phone call logs to try and debunk any claims that he was distant in their relationship.
COUPLES THERAPY CLAIMS
On After the Final Rose, Jenn claimed that Devin refused to go to couples counseling, but argued that she fired their original therapist without telling him.

Devin explained, "I only had to find out through an email from our therapist saying that she’s sorry things couldn’t work out.
"I confronted Jenn about this, and she never even gave me an explanation.
"All she could say was that she didn’t like her and that she wasn’t experienced enough.
Due to this, Devin felt that his opinions were being "completely tossed to the side."
He also revealed that the two were going to both individual and couples counseling.
'WASN'T HER FIRST CHOICE'
Devin discussed that while he was watching the season back, he realized that he wasn't Jenn's person.
He said, "I had to clearly watch myself place second to someone else.
"I wasn't her first choice."
Devin was seemingly referring to second runner-up Marcus Shoberg.
He said it was "hard to go through" watching Jenn's relationship with Marcus unfold on TV.
"At that point in time, I felt like my decisions were reaffirmed in breaking up with her in the first place," he said.
"I felt like I had made the right choice."
He concluded his video by confirming that his intention was not to "play the victim" but wanted to get his side of the story out there.
"Jenn, I really, really am sorry for the way things played out. My intentions were to never hurt you, and I’m sorry for that hurt that I’ve caused," he said.
REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
Over the weekend, Jenn hung out with the third runner-up, Jonathon Johnson.
The two TV personalities got together and shocked Bachelor Nation by posing together in a TikTok video.
Jenn stunned in a one-shoulder sports bra and low-rise white pants.
Meanwhile, Jonathon wore gray sweatpants and a blue shirt.
For their video, Jenn lip-synced the words "Everybody wants to know what I would do if I didn't win."
Moments later, Jonathan popped into the frame and said, "I guess we'll never know.
In the comment section, fans were completely blown away.
"Jenn don't play with us," one wrote in all caps.
