Bachelorette star Gabby Windey is living her best life after winning The Traitors and getting married. During a recent talk show appearance, she revealed what helped her realize she was a lesbian.
Bachelor Nation fans are very familiar with Gabby Windey. She gained fans after her sassy response to Zach Shallcross sending her home on The Bachelor. Gabby Windey wasn’t heartbroken for long. She was named Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia for Season 19 of the popular dating show.
Gabby’s engagement to her final rose winner, Erich Schwer, didn’t last long. After The Bachelorette, she competed on Season 31 of Dancing With The Stars, coming in second place.
A little over eight months after appearing on DWTS, Gabby Windey was a guest on the daytime talk show The View. She wanted the world to know that she was in a new relationship…. with a woman. Fans were shocked because she only showed interest in men during her time on the Bachelor Nation shows.
More recently, Gabby was a contestant on Season 3 of Peacock’s popular reality competition, The Traitors. Bachelor Nation alums Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Peter Weber were on the previous seasons. But unlike her predecessors, she won the show along with Dylan Efron, Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Dolores Catania and British aristocrat Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
Gabby told Traitors host Alan Cummings that if she won, she would marry her girlfriend, comedian Robby Hoffman. She went through with the promise. The couple tied the knot in a low-key Vegas ceremony in January, though they kept it a secret until the beginning of March.
Gabby Windey and Dylan Efron (actor Zac Efron’s younger brother) were guests on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live earlier this week. They were joined by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley.
At one point in the show, host Andy Cohen asked Gabby about realizing she was a lesbian. He asked if The Bachelor show turned her gay. She jokingly replied, “I mean, it didn’t help.”
Bachelor Nation fans took to social media to praise her “iconic” response to the question she’s likely asked a lot.
After Gabby’s performance on The Traitors, some fans think she would be a perfect addition to Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. When asked about it in an interview, she said she would be open to it but would need Andy Cohen to make it happen.
Fans will have to wait and see what Gabby Windey’s next move is after winning The Traitors and getting married.
