BACHELORETTE fans were livid after a last-minute schedule change delayed a crucial episode for some viewers.

On Monday, viewers in certain time zones learnt they will have to wait longer than others to watch Jenn Tran's hometown dates over a programming clash with the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

The Bachelorette broadcast was most severely disrupted for fans in the Mountain Time and Pacific Time zones, with several people rushing to X to complain about the interruption.

In the Mountain Time zone, the first half of Monday night's two-hour episode kicked off as usual at 7pm but ran until 10pm, with an hour-long break for the DNC in the middle.

Meanwhile, fans in the West Coast became frustrated after the convention ran longer than expected, pushing back The Bachelorette's 8pm start time.

"Playing Bachelorette bingo with [President Joe] Biden’s DNC speech because ABC Network don’t [sic] know how TV schedules work," one X user grumbled about the delay.

"The DNC running into Bachelorette’s air time…during hometown week…is unacceptable. If I don’t see [host] Jesse Palmer on my screen in 30 seconds I’m boycotting this election," another person quipped.

A third comment read, "the dnc is holding me hostage waiting for the bachelorette when will this torture end"

"Anyone else furious that the DNC is on when the Bachelorette is supposed to be on???" another user tweeted, while a fifth post read, "can the DNC be over so I can watch the bachelorette plz."

One exasperated viewer added, "listen DNC you have my vote, just give me Bachelorette hometowns already."

The race for Jenn's final rose is heating up, as the four remaining contestants – Devin, Jeremy, Jonathan and Marcus – introduced her to their friends and families during Monday night's episode.

The whirlwind week included declarations of love, eye-opening conversations, and a healthy dose of scepticism about the future of reality TV relationships, before it culminated in the rose ceremony.

As she prepared to hand out her three remaining roses, Jenn admitted she's "definitely falling for all these men" during a chat with host Jesse.

In the end, Jenn decided to send Jeremy back home to Fairfield, Connecticut, with Marcus, Devin, and Jonathan progressing to the final stages of the ABC reality dating show.

Explaining her decision during a confessional, Jenn said, "[Jeremy was] someone that I wanted to see a future with, but I just didn’t see it fully there."

The 29-year-old real estate investor's hometown date was somewhat derailed after his mother Karen voiced her hesitations about Jeremy and Jenn being right for each other.

"And, by the way, I don't think my mom ruined anything for me," he added. "I think it made Jenn really think about stuff."

At one point during their hometown date, Karen told the cameras, "When Jenn was named The Bachelorette, she described what she looks for in a guy, and I said to myself, that is not Jeremy."

Jenn, who made Bachelor Nation history after the 26-year-old PA student became the franchise's first Asian American lead, will now evaluate her remaining connections before giving out her final rose.

Earlier this month, viewers alleged the show was scripted after Jenn's ex-boyfriend Matt made a shock appearance on The Bachelorette to try and win her back.

"Scripted and staged. I guess they needed some excitement," one Instagram user wrote.

"Just jumped the shark. Not interested in the games producers play," wrote another fan.
