Bachelor Winner Juliana Addresses Claims She Joined Show For Clout

After weeks of falling in love with multiple women on The Bachelor, Grant Ellis had a tough choice to make. He had to send either Juliana Pasquarosa or Litia Garr home. He sent Litia home and got engaged to Juliana on the reality TV show’s season finale.

Now that the engagement is public, fans are curious about what’s next for Juliana and Grant. The happy couple shared that they want to find an apartment in Boston, where Juliana is based. Grant said he would still keep his place in Houston and travel between the cities.

Many Bachelor Nation stars turn to influencing as a career after the show. Juliana addressed the claims that she joined the show for fame and not for love. In a TikTok video, she revealed the truth behind joining The Bachelor. “Before filming The Bachelor, I created this life for myself that I absolutely love,” Juliana began.

She continued, “I didn’t go into this experience trying to create a new life after it. I came into this experience trying to find a man to bring into the life that I currently love. Just food for thought.”

She said that she is staying in Boston and not moving to L.A. But she isn’t against taking advantage of her newfound fame. “I would love to take advantage of opportunities that present itself to me as long as it aligns with who I am and the type of life I want to live,” she said.

Bachelor Nation fans took to social media to react to Juliana saying she won’t move to L.A. to become an influencer. Several fans didn’t believe her, especially given Grant Ellis’ desire to be on Dancing With The Stars.

  • “Well he wants to do DWTS so hope she is willin to visit lol and they make that distance work.. i feel like most of the couples move temporarily”
  • “I like Juliana but come on… if she knew how many people go on this show and then break up she wouldn’t only be joining to find love.”
  • “But does she know that Grant has been campaigning for DWTS and that it films in LA?”
  • “This feels a little “not like other girls” ngl, and I tend to shiver at the phrase “created a life for myself” because it sounds so conceited”
  • “It came across as shady, (whether intentional or not) implying, “I’m different and didn’t join the show for clout or to move to LA like other contestants.”
  • “is this a dig at Litia”

Bachelor Nation Fan Points Out Hypocrisy

Nowadays, Bachelor Nation contestants are an overnight success thanks to social media. Many people from the show quit their pre-show jobs and become full-time social media influencers after leaving the show.

One Bachelor Nation fan pointed out the hypocrisy between the reaction to Juliana being an influencer and others from the franchise. They wrote, “Y’all don’t say sh*t about Joey and Kelsey being influencers immediately after.”

Do you think Juliana will stay in Boston or eventually move to L.A. for other opportunities? Was she on The Bachelor for the right reasons? Sound off in the comments.
