Each week during Bachelor in Paradise, Head of Paradise relations (and former Bachelorette) Hannah Brown will answer a few questions about the cast's "journey" to find "love." Today, newlywed Hannah shares her thoughts on the Brian-Bailey-Jeremy drama, the debate over "bro code," and more.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: First of all, Lea and Jonathon were both shocked to win the Relationship Test, even though they're not even dating! In light of this, do you think they should give their relationship another shot?
HANNAH BROWN: I did not see that one coming. But honestly, it does say a lot about how much they have in common and how compatible they really are. After hearing where they both stand now, I think they know deep down they’re better off as friends — and that’s totally okay. The show has shifted with the money on the line, so let’s see if they can use that friendship and compatibility in the competition from here on out. You never know — sometimes friendship can be just as powerful as romance in a game like this.

Big drama exploded this week when Brian told Bailey that Jeremy called Susie and tried to get her to come back. I was shocked to learn that several of Bailey's friends, including Alexe, knew about the Susie call but didn't say anything to Bailey. Why do you think they kept quiet, and do you agree with that decision?
I think when you are in the moment and having someone confide in you with information about them and their partner, you want others to be able to work it out without airing other people’s business to the wider group and causing unnecessary drama. Also, the friendships run deep so it can be hard to pick a side. I think they all believed that Jeremy should’ve been the one to share that info then they started forming a deeper connection, so no one felt like they wanted to disrupt that.
What did you think of Bailey's decision not to reveal that Brian was the one who told her about Susie?
My heart goes out to Bailey. That is so much to take in and try to process this far along, especially when you’ve been building what feels like a real connection with someone. I think given she found out others knew, she could confront him about it without passing the blame onto someone specific — and allowing her to see his genuine response.
I cannot tell you how much I hate the term "bro code." What would you say to the guys on Paradise who said Brian's decision to tell Bailey about Jeremy's bad behavior violated "bro code"?
I would remind them that we are filming a TV show. Everything is going to air eventually. You can’t just hide from things that easily. At first, I don’t think Brian’s reasons for telling her came from the best place. But honestly, by that point, so many people already knew. He probably felt like he had to say something — especially when Bailey was starting to think he was being sneaky and going against his own couple.

The Goldens are getting picked off one by one. Why do you think that is?
It just makes me so sad every time someone goes home! I get attached to them. But now that there’s money involved, it totally changes the way people are thinking when it comes to voting. It is turning into a numbers game first and foremost.
Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
