Grant Ellis is always rooting for his exes.
Because although The Bachelorette won’t be returning for its usual summer slot this year, the current Bachelor suggested several women from his season who he thinks could lead the franchise down the line.
“There's so many great ladies there—I can't say all of them,” Grant told E! News in an exclusive interview. “I think Bailey [Brown]'s Great. Think Alexe [Godin] is great. I think Allyshia [Gupta]’s great. I think Dina [Lupancu] is great.”
But while the 31-year-old may have a few standouts in mind, he’d be happy to see any of his former flames get their own shot at finding love.
“I think they're all wonderful,” he continued. “Those are just some, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised of any one of them.”
Meanwhile, Dina—who was eliminated on the March 3 episode following the hometown dates—offered her own suggestion, noting the wide variety of personalities to choose from.
“You would get such a different season with every single girl,” she told E! News before making her pick. “Let's give it to Parisa [Shifteh]. I think she would be so funny. She would get, like, the quirky guys. I think she would be a great Bachelorette.”
In February, E! News confirmed that the Bachelor spinoff’s 22nd season would not return mid-year as it has for its previous three cycles, with season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise set to heat up the summer months instead. And the series will feature Bachelor Nation fan faves Jonathon Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, who were announced to appear on the show after competing on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette in 2024.
“I’m really just hoping that I can apply what I learned from Bachelorette to Paradise,” Jonathon told TV Insider in August. “If I like somebody, I’m gonna let them know. If I love somebody, they and anybody else that’s watching is gonna know. It’s not gonna be hidden.”
As for Hakeem, he previously said he was “so thankful” to be heading to Paradise.
“I was at a loss for words,” he told Us Weekly. “But honestly, what I learned from this process is, you know, just show your emotions.”
