Bachelor Exes Rachel Recchia and Clayton Echard Set to Join Perfect Match Season 3 Beside Love Island, Love Is Blind Favorites

Perfect Match is shaking things up for season 3!

On Wednesday, June 25, Netflix announced the official premiere date and cast for season 3, which hits screens on Aug. 1 — and things are sure to heat up.

For the first time in series history, Perfect Match will welcome stars from outside of the Netflix universe.

Bachelor exes Rachel Recchia and Clayton Echard led the big announcement, reuniting once again on reality TV after Echard dumped Recchia in season 26 finale of the ABC series.

Also joining season 3 are Love Island alums Carrington Rodriguez, Justine Joy, Ray Gantt and Scott Van-Der-Sluis. The USA version of the show previously aired on CBS before moving to Peacock.

Siesta Key star Juliette Porter will also appear on the Netflix show after previously appearing on the MTV series.

Of course, there will also be stars from some of Netflix's most beloved series, including Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, The Circle, Temptation Island and The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.

Previously Amber Desiree "AD" Smith and Ollie Sutherland from Love Is Blind: UK were announced as members of the season 3 cast. Fans already know that the two struck up a romance on the show, have since gotten engaged and are currently expecting their first child together.

Also appearing on season 3 is Love Is Blind: UK favorite Freddie Powell and Love Is Blind season 8 star Madison Errichiello.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On stars J.R. Warren and Sandy Gallagher, who were trial marriage partners during season 3 and had notable chemistry together, will reunite and attempt second chances at finding love after their respective relationships ended on the Netflix show.

Rounding out the cast is Too Hot to Handle alums Jalen Brown, Louis Russell, and Lucy Syed; Temptation Island stars Alex Zamora, Cody Wright, and Olivia Rae; as well as Daniel Perfetto from Dated & Related, Hannah Burns from The Mole, and Quori-Tyler "QT" from The Circle and Battle Camp.

"Will they play for love or play to win?" host Nick Lachey asks in the new teaser, which debuted on June 25. "Let the games begin!"

AD and Ollie's casting was first revealed in March when they shocked fans with news that they were engaged.

In a video played at the LIB season 3 reunion, the couple shared that they would be appearing on Perfect Match season 3 before Ollie led AD to a different spot on the sand and proposed.

Nick had already predicted AD’s casting when the series was renewed last year. 

"It's really intriguing because someone like AD [Smith], who her and Clay [Gravesande]'s story was, I think, such a hard one for everyone to stomach," he previously told PEOPLE of the LIB season 6 couple. "They seemed like they were so perfect for each other and we saw those things not play out ... oh man, I want the best for both of them, honestly. But I think AD is a great candidate for someone to be on the show."

The season 3 announcement comes one year after season 2 of Perfect Match aired on Netflix.

Viewers last saw a group of 25 love hopefuls arrive at the villa to find love in season 2 in June 2024, which ended with five couples making it to the finale.

The duos were: Chris Hahn (Dated and Related) and Tolú Ekundare (The Trust), Alara Taneri (Dated and Related) and Stevan Ditter (Too Hot to Handle), Micah Lussier (Love Is Blind) and Kaz Bishop (Dated and Related), Elys Hutchinson (Too Hot to Handle) and Bryton Constantin (Squid Game: The Challenge), and Christine Obanor (Too Hot to Handle) and Nigel Euro (Too Hot to Handle).

Fan favorites Jessica Vestal (Love Is Blind) and Harry Jowsey (Too Hot to Handle) parted ways just before the finale, while the rest of the cast returned to participate in the final vote. Ultimately, Christine and Nigel managed to eventually take the title of the "Perfect Match" despite only being together for a short amount of time.

Seasons 1-2 of Perfect Match are now streaming on Netflix. Season 3 premieres with the first six episodes on Aug. 1, and episodes will drop weekly through the finale on Aug. 15.
