Bachelor fan favorite Dina Lupancu was sent home following her hometown date on Monday night. Grant Ellis decided he did not see a future with her. Many have assumed that he sent her home because her family failed to support her during hometowns and did not meet Grant. He has shared a reply to that. Plus, Dina has shared whether or not she’s going to give love one more shot by joining Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. What did she have to say about the possibility? Keep reading to get all the details.

Did Bachelor Grant Ellis Send Dina Lupancu Home Because Of Family?

Grant Ellis spoke with Extra following the taping of the Women Tell All which was filmed this past weekend. He was asked about sending attorney Dina Lupancu home after hometown dates. Did he decide to send her home because her family did not show up for her?

Grant shared that this was not the reason. He said he could understand that part of it because he had a rough childhood at times. He maintains that wasn’t the reason. Ellis shared that his decision was more about the qualities he was looking for in a spouse. However, in a confessional during the show he noted that her family not meeting him could be a make-or-break moment.

Dina herself said that she didn’t think it was a big deal to him until she watched the show back and heard him say that. She admits she didn’t really open up to him about why her family did not want to be a part of the show. Perhaps things could have been different if she had been more open and vulnerable with him. Looking back she thinks that perhaps she didn’t give him a safe space.
