Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Wife Lauren Burnham Reveal the Sex of Their Fourth and Final Baby: ‘So Excited’

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and wife Lauren Burnham are expecting another baby girl!

On Wednesday, April 16, the expecting couple shared the sex of their fourth and final baby. In the Instagram Reel and YouTube video of their intimate gender reveal, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham were joined by their friends, family and their three children: daughter Alessi, 5, and 3-year-old twins Senna and Lux.

They both popped a black balloon that burst with pink confetti for the big reveal.

After popping the balloon, their little ones joined in on the excitement and cut into a cake that had pink filling.

“I think it’s a boy,” Burnham, 33, confessed in their YouTube video before learning the sex of their last bundle of joy. “And I thought it was a boy the entire time. If my instincts are wrong, I’m going to be so shocked.”

“I’m wearing blue because I think it’s a boy. This pregnancy feels different,” Luyendyk Jr., 43, said immediately after. 

Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham received a ton of congratulatory messages in the comment section of their Instagram post. One user wrote, “Lux will have a big sister, twin sister and little sister." Another added, “Congratulations ❤️ so happy for your family. Just think when all your daughters get married, you're going to have all the boys!!”

Last month, Burnham shared that she and Luyendyk Jr. experienced a chemical pregnancy before conceiving their latest baby girl. 

“We tried and tried,” she explained in a YouTube video. “And we were unsuccessful for a little bit and then we had a chemical pregnancy. I’ve never had a chemical pregnancy before, so I thought that was it. Like we were actually pregnant."

The Cleveland Clinic describes a chemical pregnancy as “an early miscarriage that happens before the fifth week.”

She added, "And I surprised Arie for the first time ever, because that was his one request for our last pregnancy was that I surprise him in a cute way because I always just tell him immediately because I can’t keep secrets.”

That same month, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham shared that they were expecting their last child together on Instagram. The news came as a surprise to many fans after the television personality announced he’d reversed his vasectomy when the couple decided they weren't done having kids.

"Our last missing piece…coming this september👶🏼🤍," they wrote as the caption of their joint announcement.
