The “Vanderpump Rules” reboot is one that everyone is excited to see, and that includes former star Ariana Madix.
While attending the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards, Madix took a moment to speak with ExtraTV about the show’s new direction.
“I’m excited to see how it works,” she said on March 17. It’s such a hard thing to do I think to put yourself out there, and they have a tough road ahead of them, as obviously we’ve all lived. Anybody I think who’s done that has lived that. I think they’ll be great. I think they’ll have fun.”
The show will consist of an entirely new cast, with Lisa Vanderpump being the only original member to return. TMZ reported that Season 12 of “Vanderpump Rules” will begin filming in early April.
Ariana Madix Admits What She Learned While Being on ‘Vanderpump Rules
Madix has been a part of the “Vanderpump Rules” family since the show began in 2013. She had many ups and downs during that time, whether it was getting into fights with her friends or being involved in one of the most covered cheating scandals.
Yet, all these experiences shaped her into the woman she is today. So, when speaking with ExtraTV, she revealed what she learned from her time on the show.
“I think I’ve learned to trust myself. I think I’ve also learned to trust my gut more, just in life in general,” Madix explained. “And I think I learned that I can do things that are hard.”
Ariana Madix Teases New Projects At iHeart Radio Music Awards
Since filming ended for season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules,” Madix has managed to stay very busy.

But, it seems Madix might have more projects on the horizon.
“Well, of course ‘Love Island.’ The next season of ‘Love Island,’ very, very excited for,” she told ExtraTV. “And a lot of other things that I can’t really talk about yet. So I got to keep the lips sealed a little bit. But, exciting stuff.”

Even before the “Vanderpump Rules” reboot was announced, Madix knew that she wasn’t going to return
“I don’t think I was ever going to go back to ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ That’s the first time I’ve ever said that publicly, but I was never going to,” Madix revealed to PEOPLE in a March 13 interview.
“It just didn’t feel right. Not in any sort of rude way, not in a professional, ‘We don’t need this,’ not in a, ‘I’m too good for this’, but it just didn’t feel right,” she explains. “If I did go back, I wouldn’t have been able to do the job that would make a good show. And so it just wasn’t going to make sense, the story didn’t make sense.”
