Ariana Madix looked care-free as she stopped by her new sandwich shop, Something About Her, on Wednesday despite news that she and co-owner Katie Maloney are being sued by a former chef.

The reality TV star, 39, flashed her midriff while enjoying a coffee break outside of the West Hollywood-based eatery.

Madix recently returned to LA after hosting the most recent season of Love Island USA in Fiji.

And she looked ultra tanned and toned from her six-week trip in the tropical oasis in a cropped white tank top and baggy striped pants.

Ariana — who recently came clean about her cosmetic procedures — strolled the sidewalk in sandals while carrying two iced lattes from the coffee shop next door.Ariana Madix looked care-free as she stopped by her new sandwich shop, Something About Her, on Wednesday despite news that she and co-owner Katie Maloney are being sued by a former chef

Ariana's bright blonde bob was parted to one side and she let her natural beauty shine by opting for minimal makeup.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Ariana and Katie — who opened Something About Her in May 2024 — are facing legal action from Penny Davidi Borsuk, an executive chef who was appointed the COO/Director of Culinary of Something About Her.

Borsuk alleges Madix and Maloney, 37, have failed to follow through with their end of a business agreement they made surrounding her role at the restaurant.

People reports Borsuk has accused the duo of not honoring the stipulations of their written 'partnership.'

Borsuk alleges she was guaranteed a 10% partnership in June 2023 if she assisted in developing and running the restaurant.

Due to this agreement, she claims she did a considerable amount of work to get the restaurant operational. This work included filing trademarks for the eatery.

Borsuk claims she was set to receive a $7,500 paycheck every month until January. In January, her compensation was set to increase to $10,000 a month.

Now, however, Borsuk claims Madix and Maloney have denied ever having such a partnership with her.

She is now hoping a judge will uphold the terms of their agreement and that she will be rightfully compensated. Madix recently returned to LA after hosting the most recent season of Love Island USA in Fiji

Something About Her finally opened in West Hollywood in May 2024 after two years of unexpected delays.

In April Maloney revealed she and Madix were no longer working with Borsuk.

'No, we're not working with Penny any longer,' she said on the Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson podcast.

While she did not share much about the departure, she said the partnership was ultimately not the best 'fit.'

'You know, I mean, we loved working with Penny, and Penny was great, but ultimately it wasn't the right fit,' Maloney said.

An executive chef, Borsuk has also worked with Madix and Maloney's former employer, Lisa Vanderpump.

Borsuk worked with Lisa on both Pump Lounge and Tom Tom.

On her website, she states she works as a Culinary Specialist and New Business Manager for Sysco Foods.

In wake of the lawsuit, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed this week that Ariana and Katie have fired back at Penny over the sandwich shop's trademark.

Before she was fired, Penny and her lawyer husband Jonathan Lee Borsuk applied for the Something About Her trademark through her company Put A Fork In It LLC in August 2023.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Ariana and Katie ¿ who opened Something About Her in May 2024 ¿ are facing legal action from Penny Davidi Borsuk, an executive chef who was appointed the COO/Director of Culinary of Something About Her

They allegedly had the approval of both Madix and Maloney to do so.

Despite no longer working for Madix and Maloney, Chef Penny has retained ownership over the pending trademark.

Something About Her was published in the May 28, 2024 issue of The Trademark Official Gazette — giving anyone the opportunity to oppose it within 30 days of the publication date before a Notice of Allowance is issued, as per the guidelines.

And now DailyMail.com can can divulge that Ariana and Katie filed an opposition through their attorney on June 25.

The reality TV stars were also granted a 90-day extension to oppose it.

Weeks later, Ariana and Katie's attorney went ahead and filed a new trademark for Something About Her on July 9.

Documents reveal that in addition to the restaurant, the business partners plan on adding Something About Her fragrances, candles, cases for phones, bags/totes, clothing and even catering services.
