Are You Surprised? The Southern Charmers Are Hanging Out With Tanner From Love on the Spectrum — Passionate Fans Can't Stop Watching! - lulu

Charleston just got a little more charming — and a whole lot more wholesome.
In a crossover no one saw coming but absolutely everyone is loving, the guys from Bravo’s Southern Charm have been spotted spending quality time with Tanner, the breakout fan-favorite from Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum U.S.

Photos and videos posted on social media show Shep Rose, Craig Conover, and Austen Kroll hanging out with Tanner at a waterfront oyster bar in Charleston — laughing, high-fiving, and even engaging in what one fan described as “the most adorable heart-to-heart ever captured on Instagram Live.”

“Tanner is literally the most genuine person I’ve ever met,” Craig said in a behind-the-scenes story. “We need more people like him around.”

The unlikely friendship reportedly began after Shep mentioned Love on the Spectrum as his “comfort show” during a podcast appearance earlier this year. A few DMs later, Tanner was invited to visit Charleston — and the rest is bromance history.

🎯 What Were They Doing?

According to sources, the group spent the weekend:

  • Touring Charleston’s historic district
  • Playing cornhole at a local brewery
  • Having a spontaneous karaoke night (Tanner nailed a Backstreet Boys classic)

Tanner even reportedly gave Austen some dating advice, which fans are now begging him to follow.

“Tanner told Austen to be more honest with his feelings,” a fan wrote on Reddit. “We’ve been saying this for YEARS.”

💬 Fans React — "This Is the Crossover We Never Knew We Needed"

Social media exploded with love for the unlikely hangout:

“This is the most emotionally intelligent group Austen has ever been part of.”
“Tanner for next season of Southern Charm, please!”
“Wholesome content with a side of oysters? YES.”

👀 Could This Lead to Something Bigger?

While Bravo hasn’t confirmed anything, insiders say producers are “very interested” in exploring more cross-platform appearances — and that Tanner might even be invited to a future Southern Charm reunion taping.

“He’s exactly the kind of energy this show needs right now,” a source close to production said. “Genuine, funny, and not afraid to call people out — respectfully.”
