April Kirkwood Reveals How She’s ‘Completely Different’ in ‘Paradise’ Compared to ‘Golden Bachelor’

Fans got to know April Kirkwood on Gerry’s season of “The Golden Bachelor,” and she’s been keeping us updated with her life on social media ever since.

April is currently giving love another shot on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 10. 

She recently joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to share a little bit about her experience and revealed she’s now a “completely different person” compared to her time on “The Golden Bachelor.”  

While reflecting on her time on the different Bachelor Nation shows, April shared that she feels viewers will see different sides of her this time around.  

“I did my work, so I came back this time a completely different person. All of my selves are coming out in this show. I hope you enjoy it. I hope my daughter’s not upset,” she joked.  

April also revealed the biggest lesson she learned while on “The Golden Bachelor.” 

She said, “When you are on a show like that, it changes who you think you are. What you think you are. That’s what I got out of it. I got out of it a better April.” 

The Golden Bachelor Nation star continued, sharing how she feels like she was her true self in “Paradise” compared to before.  

“I’m a different person on this show. But actually, I’m the real person on this show,” she admitted. “The other person was guarded, worried, you know the commotion and all of that. I really didn’t know how to handle it. This time, I didn’t care how to handle it. I just like, I’m out there!... So you’re gonna see a lot of different facets of April, but it’ll be fun. I had a blast. I’m so grateful.”
