Anitta finally addressed those pictures with Mauricio Umansky.
One year after Kyle Richards’ estranged husband made headlines for snapping photos with Anitta and Lele Pons as the women skied in nothing but towels, Andy Cohen asked the Brazilian singer about the viral moment.
“I knew this was coming,” she bashfully told “Watch What Happens Live” viewers Thursday. “I realized this was coming, like, five minutes ago.”
She added, “If I realized it before, I would have called him and said, ‘What do I say?'”
Anitta, 31, gushed that Umansky, 54, is a “great person,” saying they became “very good friends” after meeting on the December 2023 Aspen, Colo., trip and still “always talk.”
Cohen, 56, repeated, “Very good friends?”
The “São Paulo” performer then clarified, “No, we became good friends.”
After the Bravo host pointed out that Umansky is “single” and asked whether “anything romantic” is going on, Anitta coyly paused before saying, “No.”
As for whether she is currently “dating anyone,” the Grammy nominee quipped, “I don’t know.”
Social media users believed Anitta’s response showed she was “definitely dating Mauricio.”
One YouTube viewer wrote, “Omg the PAUSE before no,” while another added, “I can’t wait for Kyle to see this!”
Richards, 56, and Umansky tied the knot in January 1996, with the news of their separation breaking in July 2023.
At the time, Richards was romantically linked to country singer Morgan Wade — but the pair have repeatedly insisted their bond was purely platonic.
Umansky, for his part, was photographed holding hands with his “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Emma Slater, in October 2023 and kissed Nikita Kahn at a Grecian airport the following summer.
Richards cried over the latter in Tuesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
She said, “You can live in this la-la land for as long as you want, but that was a hammer on the head saying, ‘Hello, Kyle! He’s moved on!'”
The actress acknowledged, however, that they are “separated and allowed to do what [they] want.”
Richards has yet to react to a recent report that Umansky was seen making out with a mystery brunette at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles over the weekend.
